SpendIntent is a zero-based budgeting application designed for European users. The Service allows you to:

  • Connect your bank accounts via SaltEdge open banking
  • Track and categorize your transactions
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Set financial goals and track progress
  • Receive insights about your spending habits

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Bank Connections

By connecting your bank accounts through our Service, you authorize us to access your financial data via SaltEdge open banking services. You acknowledge that:

  • We do not store your bank login credentials
  • You can revoke access at any time
  • Bank data is used solely for providing our budgeting services

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SpendIntent and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Financial data will always be accurate or complete
  • The Service will meet all your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

SpendIntent is not a financial advisor. Our Service provides tools for budgeting and expense tracking, not financial advice. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information from the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendIntent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where you reside. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
